Time to meet the Full-Stack Developer at 7code, Titus!

Why did you join 7code, and what has kept you here?

7code initially caught my attention with it's approachable and welcoming team, wether we are talking about proffesional endeavours or bonding activities, the communication and collaboration was top-notch. I discovered since that inside the company, progress happens very fast and this has an effect on the progress of individuals.

How do you describe your work personality vs. your home life personality?

I've always liked interacting and being extroverted with people, and luckily I can express my personality at work as well. I'd say the main difference in my attitude in the two settings, is the seriousness of the subjects I approach.

I'm happy to crack jokes during work but usually I like to stay on track and treat proffesional matters with the appropiate attitude. While off-work I balance this approach with tackling mostly fun, relaxed subjects.

What did you want to be when growing up?

I've always had diverse and shifting interests, learning about a multitude of subject matters developed my critical thinking and my image of the world.

Due to this I think I never had a clear target of 'what' I wanted to be when older. I 'fell' into the job of a software developer naturally, my love of the internet, technology and rational problem solving put me on the path of software development since high-school.

What are your primary responsibilities and what does your day-to-day look like?

As a Full-Stack developer I'm involved in the process of creating/estimating tasks and completing them (in broad lines).

These activities involve a lot of little processes aside from actual development, wether it is participating in agile ceremonies, asking for help, offering help, or rethinking tasks. These responsibilities keep me engaged in my work flow and on the projects I'm working on.

What is important as a developer?Describe what you were like at age 10.

As i evolved as a developer, my thoughts about the different qualities I should exhibit have also morphed. As a new developer I used to place an immense importance on technical skills, since this determined my ability to find a job after college.

Meanwhile, I didn't think of soft skills having as much importance, I now see that I was mistaken. Even though I always tried to be a good person to work with, only recently I started to recognize that good interaction is necessary for good work to happen

What is the first concert you attended?

As a 13 year old I went to see Iron Maiden in Bucharest. Not only was this a huge concert but I was also attending alone(always been independent). While waiting for the main event, as other great rock bands were putting on their show, members of Iron Maiden staff were walking along the outer circle giving out passes to the first section.

Must have seen them pass like 10 times in front of me, each time trying to get their attention so I could get a pass. Right before the main show started, I got it, I rushed to the first section, shaking, first memory of exhilerating happiness. The show was a magical experience.
