Time to meet the Human Resources Manager at Digitalya OPS, Anca!

What do you find to be the most exciting aspect of Digitalya?

I'd say trust, and I'll expand a little. I wanted to take a month off so I could travel to Europe. When I talked to the Leadership team about this, they were not only open but excited for me going on this journey. They trusted me to leave everything in order, and they trusted nothing bad would happen while I was gone.

This is a huge thing for them to do, as I'm the only HR in the company.

Not to mention they NEVER bothered me during my trip. At one point I was wondering if they will need me when I come back.

I hope to go back to travelling soon!

Top three life highlights?

Food, travel, love. No specific order. And when the 3 are combined it feels like life is a rainbow!

Are you an iPhone or android type of person?

iPhone forever. It's so much easier to use, so intuitive, so beautiful, and so on. I'm never going back to android.

What are your primary responsibilities and what does your day-to-day look like?

My main responsibilities are recruitment, admin (payrolls), and team happiness.

Every day is different, depending on what needs to be done in recruitment or what activities there are within the company. I do a little from the ones above.

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

This is a difficult one, it changes every time. Right now I'd say Romanian KFC because it's the best.

How do you balance your career at Digitalya and friends & family?

I find it easy to disconnect from work and be present at the moment, with my family and friends. I don't have an answer, I just do it. Probably as I get older I prioritize better.
