Time to meet the Business Development Partner at X2 Mobile, Dan!

Before working at X2 Mobile, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

During my Uni time, I did a lot of volunteering in different student organisations and film festivals. This brought me an opportunity to manage one of the oldest and nicest cinemas in the city. This was my first official job during my last year studying for my Bachelor's degree. I had to refurbish the venue, hire a team, find movie dealers and open the whole thing up for the public. It was a great experience at that age.

How do you spend your time outside of the office?

Outside work besides spending time with my family I try to relax by either reading or practising sports. Both are passions that I developed at an adult age and would have wanted to discover earlier in my life. I am an endurance races enthusiast and I have done multiple marathons, ultramarathons, triathlons, or swim-run races. 3 years ago sport has become more than a passion as I have opened a Strength and Conditioning gym together with some friends.

Why did you join X2 Mobile, and what has kept you here?

I joined X2 Mobile as I was looking for a new challenge after many years spent in the corporate environment in different leadership roles. X2 Mobile convinced me that is the best fit for me due to the combination of team enthusiasm, growth potential, and office vibe.

How do you balance your career at X2 Mobile and friends & family?

This is one of the things I love most about working at X2Mobile. The work-life balance is the best I've ever had. Responsibility is one of the company values and it is exhibited in all aspects. As long as I do my job, I can make sure I accommodate in my schedule my family, my sports activities, and other hobbies.

How do you describe your work personality vs. your home life personality?

I try as much as possible to keep the two in sync as based on my previous experience, having a different personality at work is too high energy-consuming. Having authentic behaviour is something that I admire a lot in the persons around me and I think this is something that my colleagues expect as well.

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Although in the last years I've learned how to have a balanced lifestyle, I would never say no to large, juicy full of fries medium-rare triple burger.
