What's your favourite line from a movie?

'Words are, in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic. Capable of both inflicting injury, and remedying it.' – Albus Dumbledore (J. K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows).

I am a huge Harry Potter fan, so it is no surprise that my favourite line comes from the movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2. Dumbledore's quote struck a chord with me because I've always marvelled at the power of words and considered them a gift. If J. K. Rowling used written words to create the Harry Potter books that brought the Wizarding World's magic into existence, imagine what we can do with this power?

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Definitely, borscht made by mom. It is also known as sour soup and it's very common in Eastern Europe.🤤

What do you like most about X2 Mobile?

I love that I can speak my mind freely. X2 Mobile is an environment where I feel safe sharing my views openly. Feedback is appreciated, listened to, and acted upon.

I also like that my team is constantly checking in on how I am doing, how my workload is, what they can do to help, which makes me happy and work better.

What drew you to Operations? Have you always worked in these roles?

I actually joined the X2 Mobile family two years ago as a Quality Assurance Tester. After about two weeks in I was offered a position as an Assistant Manager, which I accepted. At that time, I was also doing my Master's Degree in International Communication and I thought it was a better fit.

Fast forward to 2022, I am still working in the operations department and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love the atmosphere, as I get to work with the most fantastic team, the variety, I never feel bored – every day is different, and I also find this role very rewarding.

Proof that I am the world's biggest Harry Potter fan. 

How do you spend your time outside of the office?

I love reading, I almost always have a book on me and I try to sneak in a page or two even when I'm waiting at a stoplight. So naturally, during my time outside the office, you'll find me curled up with a good book.

I also enjoy cooking and trying out new dishes. I've recently taken up yoga which is very different for me. It's definitely out of my comfort zone, but I'm sticking with it and giving it a go. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it!

What are 3 words to describe X2 Mobile?
