The initial scope of work was to build MVPs for both the client and coaching apps. Wellory decided to launch on iOS and Android because they had been testing their text-based solution for nine months, validating their MVP. In addition, we built a web admin, which is where Wellory manages administrative tasks between coaches and clients and have dashboards set up. Wellory's challenge
Wellory were connecting beta users with nutrition coaches, and the main call to action was to share photos of their meals. The users got coaching via messaging to build healthier habits based on what they were already eating. The challenge of using an SMS solution was that Wellory didn’t have a place to host the images or track the progress and goals that coaches and clients were setting.
The team needed to move from an SMS solution to a system where the customers and nutrition coaches were connected via an app that could better solve their needs.
