FOCUS AREA

Challenge, approach, and impact

  • Challenges

The project presented several challenges, primarily centered around innovating a seamless, user-friendly platform for parking management. These challenges included developing a backend system capable of swift integration with the web app, ensuring effortless setup and maintenance. Additionally, accommodating diverse user needs while eliminating the necessity for customer downloads posed a significant hurdle.

  • Scope

The scope encompassed creating an all-in-one solution—leveraging our expertise to build a backend that effortlessly processed parking payments without requiring customers to download an app. This involved designing a system that facilitated the conversion of idle parking spaces into revenue generators, catering to various entities like business owners, property managers, and parking lot owners. Our focus was not solely on technology but on providing tailored support for revenue optimization and fostering industry expansion.

“We helped the client to build a simple to use solution for parking lots. The challenge was to build a system that can be set quickly, without too much effort from the lot owners in order to help those clients to make money from the parking spaces that were not used. We identified the solution as a mobile first web application that allowed users to pay quickly for their parking by using a QR code placed on a sign. On the lot side we built a web app that allows them to manage the lot and connect their stripe account in order to receive the money for the parkings. We managed to successfully deliver a solution in time that continues to grow, and recently we added another product to the solution - a violations payment portal for the cars that park and don’t pay. We started with a team of one Product Manager, two fullstack developers, a QA and a designer and later scaled down the team in order to allow the client to validate the product, but we kept enough allocation to allow constant updates to the product. We worked with the client from the idea concept and we continue to help them to grow their product identifying solution (as the violations payment portal) in order to help them better serve the needs of customers.“ Read more
