For a large Dutch insurance provider, we developed a scalable, mobile-first health platform that acts as a personal vitality coach. With features like habit tracking, recipes, meditations and step-counting, it promotes healthier routines. Built with robust backend services and third-party integrations, it now supports over 200,000 active daily users.

Defining a Preventive Health Platform
The client aimed to promote preventive wellbeing and support policyholders in living healthier lives through small daily actions. Our first task was to turn this vision into a tangible MVP. Together with the client’s product and health teams, we translated early concepts into clear user stories and a prioritised roadmap, ensuring each release delivered measurable value for users while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Building a Secure and Scalable Infrastructure
We designed and implemented a cloud-based backend capable of supporting high volumes of users, data integrations with external health APIs and scalable processing for personalised recommendations. Security, performance and adaptability were at the core of our architectural choices, ensuring the platform could evolve alongside user needs and regulatory requirements.
